FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
How and when will I get the videos? You will get the raw footage and the edits in the mail on a USB flash drive within 2-4 weeks after the wedding. If your package comes with a trailer, we will also send you a YouTube link.
How many cameras will you use? Our "basic" wedding videography package comes with 3 cameras. Our "popular" and "all-inclusive" wedding video packages also come with 3 cameras, which gives us extra angles for editing and improves the overall video quality.
What types of events do you shoot? We mostly film weddings. However, we have also filmed sweet 16 parties, quinceaneras, bar/bat mitzvahs, debuts, seminars, corporate celebrations, music videos and memorial events.
Do you have liability insurance? Yes, we are fully insured and our insurance certificate can be requested via email. Optionally, we can also provide a custom certificate that would meet your wedding venue's requirements, free of charge.
Can I meet the videographer before the wedding day? In order to make things simple for all parties involved and keep our rates as affordable as possible, we have designed a great online booking and planning system that allows us to provide our videography services at multiple weddings every weekend. Because of the above, we do not offer free personal consultations at this time. You would be communicating via email directly with our company owner (Charlie Walkrich) whose responsibility is to get all the details from you and pass it on to the actual videographer. Please note that all of our videographers have been trained the same way by Charlie so the quality of our work would be relatively the same regardless of which one of our videographers is assigned to you. Quality control is one of Charlie's main priorities.
In what format are the videos? It's MP4 or MTS HD 1080p 16:9. It will work on most computers. If you do have issues opening the files, we would be happy to recommend the appropriate software which is easy to install.
In addition to wedding videography, what other services can you provide? In addition to affordable wedding videography in Orange County, our company also offers affordable wedding photography, sound and lighting.
Do you require a meal? No, it's optional. We understand that wedding expenses add up and many wedding venues charge a substantial amount for vendor meals. So, if you're not sure you can fit this into your budget or prefer to save those funds for something else, it's not a problem on our end. Our Orange County videographers can bring their own food.
Why are your services so cheap? We do not spend a lot of money on unnecessary equipment or advertising. Most of our work comes from referrals. Also, having a team of several people allows us to provide our Orange County wedding videography, photography, lighting and Southern California DJ/MC services at multiple weddings at the same time.
My wedding ceremony is going to be longer than average. Will you be able to capture it all? That is a great question as there are several challenges associated with filming continuously for a very long time. While we’re always prepared to easily overcome most of them, there is one common challenge that you need to be aware of as a client. Most DSLR video cameras including ours overheat after approximately 15-20 minutes of continuous filming. It takes only a few seconds for each camera to cool down. However, this process will cause short interruptions while filming your event. Having said that, we have a trick that helps us minimize or completely prevent this from happening. Because we film with multiple cameras at the same time, our videographer can manually shut down each camera individually before it overheats to prevent all the cameras from overheating at the same time. This means that you would still have your entire wedding ceremony captured on video regardless of how long it is. If there has to be a short break to cool down camera 1, that footage will be available on camera 2. If there has to be a short break to cool down camera 2, that footage will be available on camera 1.
Do the hours of coverage have to be consecutive? Yes, our wedding videographers get paid for every hour of their time so the hours of coverage have to be consecutive. If you have a large break between your wedding ceremony and reception, we might be able to offer a small discount. Please contact us for more information.
Do you offer any specials or discounts? If you take a moment to check out our Orange County wedding video packages, you will see that our prices are among the lowest in the industry. Instead of negotiating our rates with every client, we advertise the lowest price that can keep us in business in the first place and there is no room for discounts.
What cities/areas do you service? San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Riversie and San Bernardino.
Do you offer drone coverage? No, we do not use drones when filming weddings and events. Many wedding venues do not allow the use of drones for any affordable videographer Orange County. In addition, drones make a lot of noise and some people find them annoying. There are many other alternative ways to get great wedding day video footage and create a beautiful film without the need for drones.
Can I come to one of the weddings to see your work? We believe that it's inappropriate to invite our potential clients or anyone else to private events such as weddings, because they are meant for family members and friends, not strangers. The results of our work can be seen online on YouTube, Facebook, Google, WeddingWire, Yelp and other websites.
Do you offer ceremony-only packages? Yes! Our wedding ceremony-only package starts at $900. This includes one event videographer with three cameras for up to 60 minutes and raw (unedited) video footage of the ceremony. Optionally, you can hire us to edit the video and create a full edited ceremony movie for $300.
How do you record audio when filming? We normally use our built-in camera mics. As long as it's not too windy, the quality is usually very good and everything can be heard clearly. However, if you would like to have the highest possible sound quality, we offer an external sound recorder available for additional $250.
Are these any changes to your policies due to Covid-19? Yes, our payment, refund and reschedule policies have become more flexible. In addition, in some cases we're offering discounts or free package upgrades. As the situation progresses, we may implement other changes as well. For more information, please contact us.
